| In compliance with Colorado law (39-5-122(1), C.R.S.), beginning on May 1, 2013, the assessor will sit in the Weld County Administrative Offices, 1400 N 17th Ave., Greeley during regular working hours to hear objections and protests to valuations for assessment of real property. Current values will become final unless protests are filed with the assessor by the end of business June 3. | |
| Objections to taxable values for 2013 must be postmarked, faxed or e-mailed not later than June 3, 2013. Objections presented in person will be accepted through June 3. | |

| The Colorado General Assembly has reinstated funding for the Senior Property Tax Exemption for tax year 2012, payable in 2013. | |
| Please note, funding has been approved for tax year 2013, payable in 2014. | |
| If you have previously applied for participation in the Senior Exemption Program, no further action is needed. | |
