Charles Tucker - District 1 – President
Charles, a Colorado native, has lived in Weld County since 1966. He works with three generations of family at Tucker Dairy by Pierce. Charles is President of Tucker Dairy and continues to be a committee member for the Ault Fall Festival, member and past president of the Poudre Valley Region AACA, member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, member and technical advisor for The Dodge Brothers Club and an avid model train collector. He is also a member of the T-Bone Club and enjoys meeting with people involved in the field of agriculture.
Charles and Beth live on the family farm with their two dogs Rosie and Cody.
Charles graduated from Aims Community College and the University of Northern Colorado with degrees in industrial education.
Charles enjoys working on his antique cars and model railroading.
Ginny Buczek - District 2 – Vice President
Ginny, a second-generation Colorado native has lived in Weld County since 1991. In addition to the County Council, Ginny serves on the Board of Directors of United Power as secretary and treasurer. She formerly served on the Firestone Board of Trustees, the Firestone Planning Commission, the Tri-area Ambulance Board of Directors, the Firestone Parks Commission, and the Tri-area Planning Commission.
Before marrying her husband Chuck in 1983, and starting a family, Ginny attended Red Rocks Community College. She worked in the Home Building Center Industry as a Buyer-merchandiser and as a Consumer Marketing Specialist for Chevron.
Ginny believes Weld County is an exceptional place to live and raise a family.
Marge Klein - District 3
Marge Klein, a third-generation Colorado native has lived in Weld County since 2000 and was appointed to fill the vacant “District 3” position on the County Council. Prior to moving to Weld County, Marge served on the Logan County Fair Board and the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Marge is Vice-President of SWS-Polifi, LLC and serves on the Advisory Board of the Leadership Program of the Rockies.
Marge is married to Larry and they reside in Fort Lupton. They have four grown children and 2 granddaughters.
Perry Buck - At Large
Perry Buck is an independent agent with New York Life. Previously, she was president and CEO of Northern Colorado Event Planning, LLC. Before starting her business she was the vice-president of Business Development of Cache Bank and Trust and served in that capacity for four years.
In 1999, Perry was appointed by Governor Owens as the Northeast Business Development Representative for the Colorado Office of Economic Development. She helped facilitate economic development in the rural communities from Jackson and Grand County in the West to Phillip, Sedgwick County in the Northeast down to Cheyenne, Lincoln, and Elbert County.
Prior to joining the Owens Administration, Perry worked in Greeley, Colorado at 1st Choice Bank as a mortgage and consumer lender. She has also worked as an Account Executive for Citibank Arizona a subsidiary of Citicorp and Public Relations Coordinator for McDonald’s Food.
Perry went to Greeley West High School where she earned nine letters in track, swimming, tennis and basketball. In 1984, Perry graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California with a degree in English. She did her graduate work in accounting at Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
Perry is involved in many civic organizations, including United Way of Weld County Board of Directors, Board of Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance, Weld County Chamber of Commerce, Senior Resource Services, Rotary, Women Development Council, Weld County Republican Party and serves on the Board of Progressive 15. She formally served four years as the Vice-Chair of the State Republican Party and is past board member of Weld County Partners, Schaffer Enterprises, Habitat for Humanity and Greeley Philharmonic Symphony.
Perry is married to the District Attorney, Ken Buck, and has two step children Cody who is 23 and graduated from West Point and Kaitlin who is 20 and attends Clemson College. They live in Windsor. Perry enjoys gardening, sports and reading.
Don Mueller – At Large – President
Don Mueller, who was recently appointed to fill a vacant "At- Large" position on the County Council, has been a Weld County resident for about 30 years.
Born on a farm in eastern Nebraska, Don attended the University of Nebraska for three years before graduating with a BSBA in accounting from the University of Denver. After graduation Don was granted the CPA certificate and worked with a national accounting firm until joining Monfort of Colorado as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Don worked for Monfort and ConAgra in various management capacities ranging from Senior Vice President of Administration to President of various Monfort subsidiary companies until retiring.
After retiring from Monfort/ConAgra he was twice recruited to fill a vacancy as Weld County Treasurer for a total of over three years and additionally Don has performed various independent consulting services.
Don has been on various bank boards, the NCMC, Inc. board for eleven years and has been active in church and other community affairs.
Don is married to JoAnn and they have two grown boys and five grandchildren.
