Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment is now able to issue certified copies of birth records for births occurring anywhere in Colorado from 1904 to the present. For births before 1904, we can issue certified copies only on those births that occurred in Weld County. All other certificates must be requested either from the county of birth or from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. We can issue certified copies of death records for all deaths that occurred in Weld County.
Fees & Requirements:
Effective July 1st, 2008 the fees for certified copies of birth records increased to $17.75 for the first copy and $10.00 for each additional copy issued at the same time for the same record.
The fees for certified copies of death records remain at $17.00 for the first copy and $10.00 for each additional copy issued at the same time for the same record.
You will also be required to submit a photo copy of your identification and proof of relationship in order to purchase birth or death certificates.
