Mission/Goal:
The goal of the Immunization Coalition of Weld County is to improve the health of the community by increasing county immunization rates across the lifespan.
Objectives:
- Educating families and community members about the importance of immunizations and their role in preventing disease
- Providing educational resources and technical assistance to health care providers administering immunizations
- Identifying and removing barriers to immunization services for children, adolescents, and adults
- Coordinating services and sharing information among coalition members
- Supporting the implementation of the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS) in Weld County
Participation is open to any community member interested in improving community health through immunizations.
