About:
Ama Tu Vida! is a education program targeting the Latino population of Weld County. The goal of the program is to decrease the incidence of cardiovascular disease (CVD) among the target population by reducing the risk factors associated with CVD, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity.
Am Tu Vida offers the following services, for FREE, to all Spanish speaking Weld County residents who are either at risk for developing heart disease, or already have heart disease and/or diabetes:
- Educational classes to promote healthy living
- Support group and self-management classes for individuals and their families living with heart disease and/or diabetes
- One-on-one support, education, and advocacy
- Zumba Classes / Walking Groups
