Drive Smart Weld County


Graduated Driver’s License (GDL) laws are created to keep teens safe on the roadway. For help sorting them out go the Graduated Driver’s License page on the DRIVE SMART website.

DRIVE SMART Weld County is a non-profit community coalition made up of members of law enforcement, business, insurance, media, concerned citizens, schools, fire departments, and health professionals working to reduce injuries and death from traffic crashes.

Services And Activities:

Some of the activities of DRIVE SMART Weld County are:

  • Teen Driver Safety Program for high schools.
  • Graduated Driver’s License Laws education for teens and parents.
  • Educational displays about traffic safety including  wrecked vehicles and a wrecked motorcycle on trailers that are used as displays.
