Summer is supposed to be an exciting time filled with fun times and  making memories. This can all change in an instant with poor choices behind the wheel. Driving impaired, texting and driving, and not wearing a seat belt can change someone's life forever!

About:

DRIVE SMART Weld County is a non-profit community coalition made up of members of law enforcement, business, insurance, media, concerned citizens, schools, fire departments, and health professionals working to reduce injuries and death from traffic crashes.

Services And Activities:

The main activities of DRIVE SMART Weld County are:

  • P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth) programs for high schools.
  • Graduated Driver’s License Laws education for teens and parents.
  • Educational displays about traffic safety including  wrecked vehicles and a wrecked motorcycle on trailers that are used as displays.
