DRIVE SMART Weld County is a non-profit community coalition made up of members of law enforcement, business, insurance, media, concerned citizens, schools, fire departments, and health professionals working to reduce injuries and death from traffic crashes.
Services And Activities:
The main activities of DRIVE SMART Weld County are:
- car seat checkpoints
- P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth) programs for high schools.
- Tailgate the Safety Way, a community event.
- Educational displays about traffic safety including two wrecked vehicles and one wrecked motorcycle on trailers that are used as displays.
