The COHAN Administrator maintains a database of contact information with Weld County Community partners such as physicians, municipalities, school districts, hospitals, fire and police officials and others. The purpose of the Health Alert Network is to relay critical and current health information in a timely manner to the appropriate local partners via a blast fax communication system. A Health Alert conveys the highest level of importance and warrants immediate action or attention. A Health Advisory provides important information for a specific incident or situation. A Health Update provides updated information regarding an incident or situation. It is the COHAN Administrators job to keep the database up to date and as current as possible. Tests are done on a quarterly basis to ensure contact information is current.
