admin_building1 The Human Resources Department is responsible for receiving, processing, and screening employment applications.

Human Resources assists Weld County departments in the hiring process for new employees. In addition, Human Resources also oversees policies and rules affecting employment, assists employees with any employment questions, establishes job classifications,  and compensation plans. The department is also responsible for orientation of new employees and establishing and implementing county-wide training programs.

As a division of Administrative Services Human Resources administers the employee benefits program and serves as the county safety office.
