What is Career Ready Colorado Certification?
The certificate is awarded after an individual completes skills assessments using the respected WorkKeys™ system from ACT®, the college testing company.
It verifies to employers that an individual has
essential core employability skills in Reading, Mathematics, and Locating Information. ACT has researched over 16,000 occupations, and these three skills are highly important to the majority of jobs in the workplace.
Individuals are certified in one of four skill levels, based upon their performance:
- Bronze - indicates skills for approximately 35% of jobs.
- Silver - indicates skills for approximately 65% of jobs.
- Gold - indicates skills for approximately 90% of jobs.
- Platinum - indicates skills for approximately 99% of jobs.
