This program pays the Medicare premium for qualified applicants and also pays the 20% co-insurance for Medicare expenses.
Special Low Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLIMB)
This program pays the Medicare premium only.
QI1
This is an expansion of the SLIMB program and pays the Medicare premium only.
Resource Limits
The 2011 resource/asset limit for all of the above programs is $8,180.00 for a single individual and $13,020.00 for a couple. A primary residence and one automobile are not countable.

Income guidelines change in mid March every year. Recipients must be eligible for Medicare Part A.
