Weld County Paramedic Services in partnership with Aims Community College as our State of Colorado approved training center of affiliation typically provides 1 hour of continuing medical education in various topics concerning the delivery of patient care in both medical and trauma topics.
These classes are offered as a Self Study / Non Instructor Contact type format through our Adobe Connect Software.
Employees are encouraged to open up the CME session while on duty and go over each of the slides in the Power Point Presentation. At the end of each presentation there is a 10 question test covering the topic in the Power Point Presentation.
When the employee is finished with the test, the results are e-mailed to the supervisor who has oversight of this project and the employee is given 1.0 hour of continuing medical education.
