The new employee orientation is 24 hours in length and consists of meeting for 3 straight days. The days are generally scheduled for 8 hours a day and generally occur on a Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of the scheduled week.
New employee orientation is mandatory and the new employee must be able to attend all three days. If a candidate is offered a position at Weld County Paramedic Services, but is unable to attend all three days of the New Employee Orientation, the job offer will be rescinded.
On the first day of the New employee orientation, the employee will be given a Field Instructor Manual and a schedule of what will occur during the three days of orientation.
