Coverage and Response Area:
As described in our home page, Weld County Paramedic Services covers an area of approximately 4,000 square miles in North Central Colorado. It is bordered on the north by the States of Wyoming and Nebraska. It is bordered on the south by the Denver metropolitan area. It is bordered on the west at approximately Interstate 25, and finally it is bordered on the east at the Morgan and Logan County lines.
System Status Deployment:
Weld County Paramedic Services utilizes a modified form of system status deployment where based on the time of day and the number of active calls in the system, ambulances will strategically post at certain locations to reduce our response times to calls.
