The functions and duties of the Utilities Coordinating Advisory Committee are to assist and advise the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County to obtain and maintain the following purposes:
- To provide and orderly and efficient planning process for any service or utility using the public thoroughfares
- To review all subdivision plats for conformance with established industry standards for the placement of utilities within subdivisions.
The Committee shall consist of five (5) members. The membership shall include four members from either a Sanitation District, gas utility, electric utility, telephone utility, water district, fire protection district or a ditch company. The membership shall include as the fifth member a representative from the Weld County Public Works Department.
The Utilities Advisory Committee meets at 10:00 a.m. every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month provided there is business to conduct. The meetings are located in the Planning Hearing Room at 918 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado.
