To protect and enhance the quality of life for County residents through the implementation of the adopted Comprehensive Plan, Weld County Code, and Building Codes while providing professional, friendly and quality customer service to the community.
What's New
- The Departments of Planning and Building will be moving on March 29, 2010. Our new location will be at 1555 N 17th Ave (off of “O” Street) on the 2nd floor. This office will be closed on March 29th to allow time for the move. We will open for business in our new location on Tuesday, March 30th. Thank you for your understanding during our transition.
- Weld County and the City of Greeley are jointly developing a North Greeley Rail Corridor Sub-Area Plan for the area between Greeley and Highway 392. Envisioned as a tool to encourage economic development, the Sub-Area Plan will look at ways to maintain the viability of the existing Great Western Railroad rail line that runs from east Greeley to east Windsor, a valuable piece of infrastructure that is unique to Northern Colorado. Development of a Plan has begun with data gathering and public open house meetings in 2008 and November 19, 2009.
