Text Box: About the Parenting Education Center

Text Box: The Parenting Education Center (PEC) is a division of the Weld County Department of Social Services. The PEC staff supervises court ordered visitations between parents and their child(ren) who currently have an open case with the Department. The PEC provides a neutral, safe place for children and families to build healthy relationships. The PEC staff provides helpful parenting techniques to help parents assemble a safe and healthy way of setting boundaries for their child(ren). The PEC staff also provides support to the families in working towards reunification. Text Box: All of the parenting classes that the Parenting Education Center offers are FREE to current clients, and families currently enrolled in the Building Healthy Marriages program.
