The Colorado Works in Weld County Program provides temporary financial and/or medical assistance to households  with children.  Income maintenance payments vary according to the size of the family and the income of the parents.  The goal of the TANF program is to assist individuals in becoming self-sufficient and/or return to the work force as soon as possible.  Collaboration and coordination with the Job Services and other community agencies provide immediate employment, training, and other support opportunities to individuals applying for or receiving TANF benefits.
